I am currently painting with acrylic paints on canvas or wood panel and mostly use my own photos as templates. The composition of the picture is more collage-like and ranges from realistic painting to abstract pictorial spaces. When working with motifs that are combined in different ways, complex themes can be dealt with or brought to the canvas, and not necessarily superficially. The motive or rather my intention should not stand in the way of the overall composition. My work contains a strong connection to nature and depicts it in all its diversity. Like a child with a bucket on the beach, I collect the fragments that are special to me, so to speak, mix them up and see what stories emerge in the working process. My work is therefore subject to constant adjustments and demands constant exchange. My works have a narrative character.
