« "...how to pick the stars: at night you just need to place a basin of water in the middle of the yard to have them at your feet." Fatou Diome »
After a career in graphic design and artistic direction, I decided to turn to my passion by becoming an illustrator and author. Cornes de Gazelle was born. We all have this vision of the slender and graceful gazelle, but she also has horns to defend her ideas! I have always been driven by creation. As a child, I admired Monet, Frida Kahlo and Rosa Bohneur, for the emotions that their works gave me. For me, an image must arouse a feeling, evoke a personal story lived or dreamed of. Through my drawings, I want to bring joy and color to a society that forgets the importance of everyday details. It's a way for me to talk to the childish naivety that is in each of us and helps us to rejoice in existing. From my illustrations sometimes children's stories are born, explaining often difficult subjects, with simplicity and poetry. Welcome to my world.
These important everyday moments, face to face.
