Among the crowd at the Sor market, a woman gracefully slips by with a calabash of curdled milk. She wears the traditional moon-shaped Fulani women's earrings. It's winter and it's a bit chilly. Under her boubou, the collar of a T-shirt sticks out. Her head is covered with a piece of colored loincloth.
This scene is seen less and less, curdled milk is now offered in plastic pots. However, Fulani women still sell them by going from house to house.1
