The artist painted her long-time dream about sleeping under the bold sky next to a small fire in peace and silence of the surrounding forests and fields. Thinking about her past, maybe also future, the girl lying along the fire is holding a ring in her left hand, looking through the light of the fireflies into the dark that surrounds her. The process of painting this artwork took the painter the whole year 2023, working on it in the late night hours1
