This work took a few days short of a year to complete. I photographed the trees in Plänterwald in Berlin last March. The white squares are beech, photographed during the day on the 5th of March. The black squares are oak, photographed on the night of the 7th of March. I printed the squares that month, then toned them in Sulphide in June. The photographs were then mounted individually – till finally, in March 2021 I was able to paint my natal chart1
