As far as the formal construction of the "Glorious Corps" is concerned, Eva Bergera's influences are multiple. The artist was thinking in particular of The Ecstasy of Saint Thérèse, by Bernini, of the artistic heritage of the Order of the Visitation (preserved at Moulin), of the incorruptible body of Saint Bernadette Soubirous (Nevers), of the old postcards that women sent to the soldiers at the front or to various sculptures and representations1
