The landscape portrays the Melissani cave in Kefalonia (Greece) where an underground spring was discovered and only saw the light of day after the collapse of the ceiling made of vegetation and earth that hid it.
Ideally it wants to be a private space, a secret and intimate place where you can navigate by exploring your own depths. The work wants to suggest an inner and meditative journey. The technique is acrylic and tempera on fine grain cotton1
