Here, it is a question of visual perception, of the concrete in the abstract. Like the geometric forms in Vasareli's optical art, the aim of this series is to render the lines of a simple ribbon close enough to the curvatures of a body so that one can identify the whole as such, when it is only lines and chromatic variations. The brain does not like what it does not understand, it will always seek to draw parallels with concrete things that it recognizes.
