Aerial view at sea, three jet skis digging furrows in the blue of the Mediterranean
When a boat sails on a body of water, it leaves a trail behind it. This trace is formed by the eddies of water produced by the hull and the propeller of the boat. Specialists call this phenomenon “the wake”.
The wake is the trace marking the passage of a boat in a liquid or an airplane in the air.
