Laura Gourmel was interested in the architectures that can be found on the roofs of buildings, like small constructions parallel to the main architecture, which could house other forms of life. To contrast this urban aspect, reinforced by the black and white of the engraving, she embroidered on top, very colorful plant and organic shapes which intermingle, thus creating a new dreamlike1
