My work began to take on meaning when I discovered the mask, concealment and terror of identity. Discovering and understanding oneself is generally a great confrontation, knowing oneself as a person, being, human is a great moment of development. But what happens when this discovery is changed? does it become multiple? terror is born, we find the other in us, this literary figure so dreaded in the tales of the Victorian literary avant-gardes, in the Gothic tales and even in contemporary cinema was the trigger for an aesthetic research that helped me understand myself and the world around me. Building masks and activating them led me to represent them, to generate in them their own stories, names and identities. The mask has become the answer to a white face, to a single face. Making masks, I draw them, paint them and make them.
