« My art blends abstract and figurative forms, using color to convey a narrative of human radiance and fantasy. »
Thomas Loj (Løj) Christensen, Born in Denmark 1977. As an artist and graphic designer, I am deeply inspired by the human form and the infinite expressions that the body can contain. I believe that our bodies are an expression of our stories, emotions, and imagination, and this is what I seek to convey through my work. My art pieces are typically colorful and composed of abstract and figurative forms that together create a narrative about human radiance and fantasy. I draw on my experience as a graphic designer, using form, color, and composition to create a deep connection between my artwork and the viewer. Through my art, I aim to invite the audience to explore and connect with the human form in a new and inspiring way.
The inspiration for 'Thoughts On The Backseat' arose at a time when I was on my way home from a family event with my own family, where we had all talked incessantly for several hours. There wasn't a sound in the car. I began to wonder how my thoughts look. Do they have a color and where do they go...? How would it be if one could see other people's thoughts...?
