The use of strong acrylic colors and expressive brushstrokes is characteristic of my work. The paint is applied in layers that are always placed on top of each other, so that many images have a three-dimensional structure. I often use a squeegee or a sharp object like a fork or knife to add even more structure to the wet paint. I paint on canvas. My pictures often show scenes from everyday life, feelings such as sadness, joy and anger, city motifs. My pictures are intended to invite the viewer to think and reflect on their own situation in the moment.
