« Cantilever Master. I want to protect this ancient art now in disuse, making it appreciable and usable even in the most modern contexts. »
Embossing involves the processing of metal plates, using hammers, punches and gravers, placed on a yielding surface, so as to allow their progressive deformation and the creation of a design in relief. The work is carried out in "negative", modeling concavities that will be in relief, while the details of the work are obtained by working the "straight" side of the plate. My self-taught approach meant that, over time, I made this art more and more my own and adapted it to the aesthetic results I wanted to achieve. In fact, using thin metal plates, I prefer to work solely with gravers, round-tipped tools which, despite requiring great physical effort for my hands and arm, allow me to obtain a finer and more elegant result.
In each painting, I share my art as a visual expression of my inner life, my emotional experience and my search for spirituality, through nature and knowledge of the world.
