Oksana Chumakova

Oksana Chumakova, theater artist. She was born, studied and worked in Ukraine in the city of Kyiv. Throughout my career in art, I work on a theme A woman in society and her incarnations. There is more than one personality in every woman and they are all different and each one has its own character. And at a certain time, this personality comes out scene at one time or another and each has its own main role. So it is in my works. When I work with diverse with materials from fabric to metal, these are created by different women my works. The theme of my works Motherhood was fear for my future of the child and for his own. Because these are not easy times for Ukraine, women we need to be guardians of our future. Because of such an earthly and living material, like clay, what is it for me very similar to the essence of a woman. Clay takes a variety form from mild to sharp and be warm or cold.
