Regardless of whether it is representational or abstract, what particularly fascinates me when painting is the play with the luminosity of the colors. I like to set priorities. To create areas that are exciting but that need a calm counterpart to balance them out. This is comparable to composing a song or writing an exciting story with a happy ending. And something very personal always flows into it. For me, a picture is complete when I have the feeling that colors and shapes mesh harmoniously and still create tension. Then a story is told in a visual way that you can hang on the wall. I prefer to tell abstract, nature-inspired stories. And you are now cordially invited to discover them.
