« "Art should calm the disturbed and disturb the calm." »
Over the years I have experimented with different painting techniques, finding acrylic an ideal and stimulating medium. In fact, thanks to its versatility it lends itself to infinite possibilities of use with other less usual materials, such as sand, which I have already been using for a few years. My art arises from the need to express my observations towards a society for which I feel a sense of horror and wonder. My inspiration, my motivations, I find them all around me as if I were the spectator of an absurd circus that never ceases to amaze me. Witnessing a grotesque and phantasmagoric spectacle, I feel driven to rework it and tell it through my works.
Does the society we live in really represent us? Will future generations benefit from our work or will they pay the price? These are the questions I asked myself and from which I drew inspiration for the creation of this series of works.

In this series of works the protagonist characters carry out jobs or hold tasks devoid of any usefulness. Unaware of their condition, they live an apparently fulfilling life. There are many analogies with modern society, starting with ignorance, the absolute enemy of the truth.
