« I have always loved trees. I try to convey its poetry »
I look for trees in the world that I feel attracted to and I use photography as a means to capture the emotion of our encounters. More than showing how beautiful they are, I would like to make their soul feel. To do this, I report the positive thoughts I feel in overlapping shots, often almost unwatchable individually, which however find a meaning in their union. The result is dreamlike images that invite the viewer to "listen with his eyes" to the vibrations of the trees, to get lost in the foliage like me and feel free.
I have always loved trees. I try to make poetry out of it. I think they are all beautiful but for some of them the appeal is so strong that it is impossible for me to resist. For 10 years I have been using photography to capture the unique and unrepeatable emotions of our meetings. I want to show what I feel, not what I see and I do this through superimposed shots, in which I express positive thoughts and feelings. They are shots that are almost unwatchable individually, but which nevertheless find meaning in their union. It is a slow process, which can take hours together with the tree, but that wonderful time that I spend with him/her contains all the attention that I dedicate to a subject that I love and that makes me happy. The result is dreamlike images that I would like to invite observers to "listen with their eyes" to the vibrations of the trees, to get lost like me among the branches to feel part of a wonderful life cycle. Because in nature each of us is a leaf, branch, tree...

The trees are watching us. They would like us to realize how unnatural the world we have created around them is. THEY RESIST and SUFFER. Increasingly rare survivors, too unimportant nowadays to deserve attention... . The basic idea of this project was to have a gloomy photo with a humanized tree looking at the viewer in front of it. Communicate suffering and desolation and send a warning to those who can do something within their possibilities. The trees are in their natural color while everything around them is clearly faked, with an abundance of purple and yellow hues in the sky and earth, signifying an unhealthy and unnatural environment. The trees are there, still; they can't fly away, just look at who caused this and hope they fix it. Enjoy your vision, even if in reality you are the object of observation...
