« Put words on pain, or colors on pain »
The discovery of painting was for me a refuge from my pain that no one knew how to explain to me. I started with oil painting, encouraged by a friend who was convinced that this “occupation” would take me out of my daily life. Thanks to her, I got into the game. Painting became my “letting go”. Letting my emotions be expressed, sharing my vision of beauty, of life, of peace, has made me move forward. Transmitting the messages induced by all the colors of the rainbow, the grandeur of nature, seems vital to me. If I can bring a little good to the person who sees my paintings then I am fulfilled. I dream of making people dream. If the painting has this effect on me, it also has it on the viewer. Imagine yourself for a moment in a hospital waiting room. The work transports you, diverts your attention, soothes your anxieties if only for a moment.

If we followed their model, life on earth would be much more pleasant. Human beings, whom I nevertheless respect, seem to me to be the cruelest of animals. We still have much to learn from animals.
