Our Earth

Nature is my inspiration. Even as a child, I loved being outside. Growing up in the heart of the Ruhr region, the places I spent my childhood were not characterized by natural beauty. We children chased butterflies in the last wild meadows, played by streams and built caves with collected branches and leaves. As an adult, I have discovered vibrant natural spaces and enchanted landscapes while traveling. But the vulnerability of nature that I experienced as a child still shapes my art today.
