L’atelier de Doune

Doune is me, an emotional nickname that appeared in my youth and which persists and resists time. An amateur and self-taught artist, painting, drawing and art in general have always been important in my life. However, ordinary and professional life kept me away from this passion for a long time. In 2022, following a burnout, the desire to create and express myself through my art came to me as obvious. The Doune workshop was born. A passionate creative soul, all my emotions are expressed through colors, shapes and textures. Mainly painted in acrylic, textured or not, my paintings are a reflection of my emotions. Some will say “Too much is the enemy of good”, not in my works whose busy and colorful composition reflects everything that animates me in a positive way. My work, an invitation to contemplation, will I hope leave a lasting imprint in the hearts and minds of those who discover and appreciate it.
