The Bargello is an embroidery stitch with uncertain origins whose real historical story has not been documented. It appears to have arrived in Italy around 1400, when a scion of the Medici family of Florence married a princess of Hungarian origin. This series of decorative panels is a modern reinterpretation, but not only that. It is the use of embroidery as a voluntary act of presence, of attention towards breathing and everything that passes through us as human beings. It is the exploration of an internal universe in continuous movement and transformation made up of thoughts, emotions and vibrant colors.
