« Painting and especially color says what I cannot say. »
In my work, the color itself is the most important motif. It is the common thread, with all its nuances and nuances, its materiality and its aesthetic impact. A long work process is visible, a tireless continuation of work, a struggle for the "ideal picture" Decisions are made again and again, what has been painted is discarded and painted over always on the search. The examination of the colors, forms and structures manifests itself in the works it is an interlocking of acting and reacting, in which spontaneity and reflection mix until the point is reached where a pause occurs, must occur.
Farbform was created in 2019 as a 12-part series. It is based on a more or less visible, recurring, organic form. During the long working process, the work develops in different colors and characteristics. It is not necessarily about the effect of individual colors, but rather about the interaction of all shades that results in an exciting whole.

In the works in the "Organic Forms" series, open, free and organic forms are becoming more and more popular. The structures and the processing of these forms are also more open and lively, one could also say more courageous and more convinced.

This series deals with colour, form and line. The line arises from the movement of a point, it has a dynamic character and causes the eye to move. The application of lines always creates surfaces, light-dark differentiations, structures and hatching. In the field of tension between form and line, changing pictorial effects result from changes in color values and line widths and from the rhythm of the graphic structure and painterly color flow.

Abstract imagery is a play with shapes and colors. By finding forms in reality, new visual worlds are constantly emerging. The traces and fragments found are condensed into expressive compositions and a fascinating surface is created using various tools.

The 6-part series Rosa Dialog was created in 2022 with acrylic paints, paper and oil pastels on canvas measuring 60x60cm. Colors are the passion of the painter Helga Gans-Eichler, The boldly and skilfully used colors never appear to be applied decoratively, rather they are woven into a whole. If you look closer, you can see bold accents in pure colors: a bright turquoise blue, a permanent green, finely coordinated rose tones with a high proportion of magenta. The combination with the other colors, the proportion of space and the type of application testify to the painter's good sense of color: who would think that colors like permanent green, rose and a bright blue would go well with a picture and not appear kitschy, quite the opposite: they fit into the picture ???? together as a matter of course, encourage dialogue, but also fight their battles a bit and certainly let the viewer take sides sometimes for this color and sometimes for that color.

For the painter, abstract imagery is a play with shapes, colors and lines. Brought to the canvas using acrylic paints, oil pastels, pigments and papers. The pictures tell little stories. What are they telling us? At first glance they are not human tragedies, but it is the structures of such stories. The colors, shapes and lines turn the canvas into a stage, they are now the main players in the game. The viewer should have the opportunity to find and interpret all of these stories in the picture for themselves.

A landscape is created anew, namely on the canvas. Painting landscape means knowing and understanding nature, the fields, the mountains, the meadows, the trees, the water and the sky. You have to paint impressions, you have to interpret, summarize and shorten. Landscapes emerge whose objectivity is color. The works were created using acrylic paints, oil pastels, pigments and painted papers on canvas.

The series “Sky Blue and Pink” was created in 2024 on canvas measuring 50 x 50 cm. The starting point was the colours light blue, a mixture of ultramarine blue and titanium white, and Persian pink, a mixture of quinacridone red magenta, iron oxide red and titanium white. During the work process, the original picture elements are partially or completely painted over. Colored paper and fabrics are glued on and linear structures are added. The overlay of different colour areas and structures results in ever new and changing image effects. The challenge is to unite different and sometimes contradictory experiences in one work and to reveal a strong personal meaning.
