« A little madness and freedom of expression allow access to the dream »
A self-taught painter for many years, Guylaine Bisson has a predilection for intuitive semi-abstract art. To start from a movement, from a relief, without having at the start of a work a common thread, then then: observe its canvas and give it a meaning. Use mediums, pigments, ink, material. Integrate an image in transfer or collage. .Guiding the gaze She loves all these infinite possibilities that allow her to create a painting called "Mixed Media" Admittedly, she goes on an adventure, but forces herself to a result where the eye of the public will be able to land so as not to leave it indifferent. His passion for painting is closely linked to his other passion which is photography. She likes to capture a look, an emotion, a movement in the snapshot, she avoids posed, frozen photos. His photos capture a precise moment, lived and having touched him. With her lens, she captures emotions; with her brushes, she conveys emotion!!
Mixed techniques These paintings suggest more than they speak They are part of my collection of intuitive semi-abstract paintings, where the eye is drawn, leaving room for everyone's personal interpretation. Who says mixed techniques, says use of various mediums, paints, pigments etc... Very often, I start with an acrylic base, I also work with ink. I use texture for the reliefs. I integrate photos, either by collage or by transfer
