« I can't imagine spending my time without a brush in my hand. »
About I have been painting for as long as I can remember. Although I attended art schools in Europe, my style is my own, having formed over many years, maturing, as I have, in technique, emotion and expression . I'm a full-time artist because I can't imagine spending my time without a paintbrush in my hand, without painting on my clothes, and without beauty flowing from my heart. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it. If you have any questions please contact me and please consider using one of my paintings to add some color and joy to your life. Ginka
Impressionism is known for its emphasis on light and color as well as its loose brushstroke technique. These effects can be easily achieved with oil paints as they offer high color intensity and a long drying time. How is the impression of tango dance conveyed in the impressionism style? Here I use vibrant colors to capture the dynamism of the dancers and play with light and shadow to create an evocative atmosphere. I like to experiment a lot with different brush strokes in order to reflect the liveliness of the dance with even more dynamism. Short, quick brushstrokes to represent the movement and energy of tango dancing, followed by softer, blurred brushstrokes to emphasize the fluid movements of the dancers. Impressionism also stands for its emphasis on snapshots and fleeting impressions.
