I am an illustrator and have worked for publishing, and carry out daily drawing and painting work alongside my job which fuels my practice. I am passionate about dance and botany. I wanted to combine these two passions with watercolor, which is a technique that adapts well to the representation of flowers and dance costumes. I work from collage on the composition of watercolors, and then work on Arches paper which allows careful and numerous brush strokes. I work to obtain a real intensity of colors while keeping the transparency of watercolor, for luminous works, full of details and colors. On the other hand, I worked on dance with oil paint, with the aim of rendering the anatomy of the dancers through modeling and contrast. This work also nourishes my activity as an illustrator, where I create stories and plates about dance.
