« Our images are mirrors of the soul and have the power to connect people with one another. »
Hello my name is Britta. I am a self-taught artist and for me geometric patterns and shapes are the center of attention. My main tools are a pen, compass, ruler and paper. I surprise myself with every completed work of art and always enjoy it. The mandalas arise from my gut, they help me to block out the chaos in my head for a certain time. Then I am completely in the here and now. It is my pleasure to bring people together through art, to enable exchange and to be creative and active together. I regularly give mandala workshops and am active on Instagram. Nice that you're here.
The word mandala comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language, and means "circle". The patterns and symbols consist of shapes that are shaped and inspired by cultural, architectural or nature-related elements, for example. For the artist, an important part of her creative journey.
