BIANCA FOCS

Originally from Mantua and from Verona by coincidence, etiquette suggests never asking a lady's age. Completed her studies at the artistic high school in Verona (student of Giuseppe Borrello, with whom she collaborated) and subsequently at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (she studied with Adriano Baccilieri and Concetto Pozzati, "magna cum laude" with Aurora Spinosa) realizes that maturity, time and ideas have now reached harmonious agreement. An academic beginning and then oriented towards a more conceptual art. To his credit there are no exhibitions or participation in events, the work in progress marks his current design path aimed at investigating an "underground" that is sometimes tragic and uncomfortable or, otherwise, flooded with beauty and ecstasy. He lives and creates in the region of the Valli Grandi Veronesi, where the Adige and the Grande Fiume shape vortices and silences. She prefers mixed media which allows her considerable freedom of expression.
