Beatrice marchese

I work mainly on canvas, mixed media. I use acrylics, charcoal, oil and oil pastels, creating different overlapping layers. The themes that are closest to my heart are nature and the human condition. I love experimenting with new techniques and sustainable materials. The artists who most inspire my work are Jenny Saville, Lucian Freud, Francis Bacon, William Kentridge. In addition to painting, I dedicate myself to plastic, performing arts and installations. I love art in all its forms.
