I consider the arts as the sensitive chronicle of an era with the function of making ideas attractive to the senses, for this reason every creator is a poet who, over time or space, sculpts signs and symbols that express the subjectivity of human experience. in a period adding to the mosaic of the epic of Sapiens Sapiens, with its dreams and nightmares, mistakes and successes. For this reason, art, together with philosophy and science, form a triad that is inspired and fed back by trial-error to forge the progress of humanity, tracing its cartography towards eternity through aesthetics, reflection and knowledge. Ergo Sum is a pictorial series about the elements and components that constitute consciousness, about how the individual builds his self-perception through experience and reflection after contact with different planes of reality and dialogue with other minds in the development vital that calibrate discernment, will and its future, same that forges exclusive traits of our personality that build the architecture of the SELF and trace the subjective horizon of existence, interior monologue of consciousness and its objects, of the ego with the reflecting fragments of his space - time where the fine line between external intervention and internal initiative that make up the illusory mosaic and the allusive plot of a self-portrait of the spirit that grants the signifiers that give us identity is palpable. The triptych seeks to function as a gloomy trinity of power, it makes use of sacred iconography with the halos and the persignation of the lateral figures while the magicians in the center build an imaginary structure as a bridge between the abyss.
