At the beginning of a painting, there is a vague idea or feeling that I would like to convey on the canvas. I start very intuitively with my color selection and also the size of the image, I like to listen to loud music and the image grows gradually. I find inspiration for my paintings everywhere in nature. Our earth is such a colorful and multifaceted place; I am always fascinated by the colors, shapes and beauty that nature has to offer. I want to convey this colorful vibrancy with my photos. I use acrylic paints and oil pastels and like to complement them with airbrush paints. During the painting process I add many layers, sometimes very thick, striking and sometimes very delicately glazed. By marking and scraping with a spatula, exciting structures are created and there are many small details to discover. My painting is colorful, lively and full of interesting facets, like life.
