« Paint as you like. »
Self-taught watercolourist, I find my inspiration in color first, that which emerges from scenes of slices of life, that which makes beautiful flowers vibrate - human or vegetable, that of clouds intertwined with convoluted cables, that of the loneliness of the life in society and nights lit by electric stars, that of our feelings, of the things left unsaid, that we hide, for fear of disappointing ourselves and/or others. Originally from Paris, I first started street photography in Chicago and London during my studies, then I try out different artistic techniques and media, before falling in love with watercolor in Japan, then moving away from my other favorite artistic fields to devote myself to painting.
Watercolors and mixed media, female subjects where the hidden reveals the nature of those portrayed.

"Hisabisa" is a manifesto of a love for Japanese life. Urban encounters where everyday life is sublimated by the light of neon lights, the sky, cables and silhouettes that form images of deserted cities with vibrant colors.
